Delicate Chinese knot button .
Widely been used on clothes by Ancient Chinese .
With different kinda themes , for example 12 Zodiacs ,
flowers , Chinese words , opera masks etc .

This is an exhibition in Kwun Tong ,
showing the history of Chinese knot buttons .

Went to have afternoon tea with my friend in Central .
The restaurant have window seats facing the ferry pier .
it is a sunny afternoon with little breeze .
The walnuts and almond tart taste super good …
there’s one second in my mind to ask for a recipe from them .

I am missing someone while having such relaxing afternoon ….
I wish I can be with him and spend tons of weekends with him ...

I follow this recipe ,
However slightly amended on the portion of ingredients .

Crust :
MCVITIE'S Digestive Biscuits 75g
Fresh unsalted Butter ( melt ) 35g

Filling :
Cream cheese 350g
Sugar 80g
Sour cream 80g
Egg 2 pieces
Vanillin Extract 2.5 g ( 1/4 tsb )
Flour ( all purposes ) 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 1 tsb
Lemon zest 1/4 tsb


Taste good , soft , the texture is what i expected ,
however the outlook still have room to improve ...
specially the crust .
