All about towels ...

EP
===

THE yoga centre will provide us clean small and big towels for shower /
during class ..
IN one of the yoga class i went last week , teacher asked us a question at the last
5 minutes of the class --
" What's the most frustrating thing for a teacher during the class ? "
Most of us said not doing the perfect pose ? / we lose our breath ? /
some of us don't want to try completing a new pose etc ..
Teacher shake her head and said " NO " , She told us the mose frustrated thing to her is
the towels we take before enter the studio . Many of us will take 1 big and 1 small towel into
the class , some even take more than 3 towels for an hour class .
AND every time when she went to the mat try to give some instructions to students ,
she first need to stand on her tippy toes , dodged the " little towels hill " besides the mat .

AS a teacher , she only take ONE small towel to the class and use it again when she
take shower after class . if that day she have a HOT class , she will only take one
more small one . She asked us to think about how many water / labor power etc ...
needed on washing just a log of towels that we used and try to minimize the resources
we used , not only for the yoga center but also for self and the environment ( earth ) .
I remember i took one big and one small towel for my 1st yoga class , BIG one for covering
the mat , small one for my sweat . Half way the class, i found the big towel on the mat just tripped me during the practice .....and from my 2nd class till now i just use a small towel .
I guess people like to cover the mat with a big towel beacuse they think that the mat is
a bit dity and lots of the other used it before , BUT everytime after the class , those cleaning
ladies used disinfection cleaner for the mat and floor ... i wonder how dity it can be ...
Besides , you can take shower after the class ......

Hummm.... i am not a environmentalist or radicalon on this topic ,
Just a little inspiration in my mind after the class ... and started to think we should
can and love the earth more and more ...

A traveling web-site completed a compendium a month ago and chosen
20 libraries around the world as the most beautiful and must visit
libraries for all travelers .
i guess you will foresee the result of this compendium that most libraries been
choosen are from those big cities like USA / London / France / Italy / Spain etc
YES , this is true ....... YET , i also found some libraries from " PORTUGAL "are on the list ..

Voice mail box greeting ..

EP
===

Some years ago ( should be decade ago ) , when my parents are still helping my uncle
running his Advertisement Company , we have a facsimile machine for receiving
documents from uncle's office , we'll switch all calls to its voice mail box
while we're out . And the voice mail box greeting was recorded by my mum at that time

THE machine is still here but we seldom use it now cos' we have e-mail / sms etc and
no need for my parents to help uncle now .

After this comic picture , i am thinking do i need to get a similar voice mail greetiing .. haha ..
don't know if you'll pissed off when you heard that but to me i will be totally jealous and
started to " create " lots of stories inside my mind ...
EG :
what the hell .... you got a new gf ?
you got a new gf after we just break up ?!
who's that gal ? Do i know her ... ??

OK .... is just some examples , don't be too serious honey ..haha

Bakery class ( more photos )

EP
====

Here are some more photos taken on the day i have the
bakery class with my colleagues .
You can see how " adorable " i am with that blue flower print apron .
i know you'll also said that i looks like a filipino maid with i totally DON'T
mind at all ... lol
the mixture is quite heavy , and i am dividing it into 3 portions , oven-ready
for the base of the whole " chocolate forest cake " ...

hah ... as you can see we're playing with our just oven cake ( the base ) ~HOT
( actually feels like a new born baby when you holding it on hand .. lol .. salivating ! )
after playing for a while , we need to slice the cake into 3 layers evenly
for the cream , mango and other ingredients inside . i looks like a professional
chef when came to this step .. lol

Spreading the fresh cream fudge frosting on top and sides of cake ,
when the real chef ( the instructor) doing the demo , and showing his
1,000% skillful technique on spreading + making those grooves for sides decoration ...
i think to myself ---- This is a real mission impossible ... lol

And that's why we all got crazy after the class and making funny( idiot ) faces ,
" celebrating " that everything came to an end ... finally .... lol ...
