Of course !! Both films are by the same director David Fincher .
Even some quotes in the movie are similar ,
For example the mama " Queenie " in " Benjamin Button "
always said " you never know what's comming for you . "
Similar meanings to the mama in " Forrest Gump " who always
said " Life is like a box of chocolate you never know what you gunna get ".
i like both stories , not only the gorgeous Cate Blancatte , and the
talent Tom Hanks but thats something sparkled my mind after the movies ....

I haven't understood the story of the movie that well...Is it a guy who instead of growing up is going back to his youth?
Yes , ages backwards !
His inside ( bones / organs etc )
are normal only his outer looks grows younger year by year . That's why at the end of the story , he's a new born baby but actually his body function inside was a 87's old man .
