last night before going to bed ..

This is not a towel or a chiffon cake or a pupa that you can
peel the silk from inside ...
it is a big soft marshmallow ( cotton candy ) which my sister
bought in a Japanese store " MUJI " last week .
i can tell you it is not very tasty because it is too sweety too me ,
like you have pour a big table spoon of sugar into your month and
those sugar just melt on top of your tongue slowly ....
Sugar is not a food before bed i know but it is a best friend when you feel
moody or you don't have any appetite to eat at all .....
To be honest i can't finish it all , it is really too sweety and i only
have a small bite to this " slow white " and than i put it back to the fridge
.... hah .... what a nice snack before going to bed in a lonely night ....

Yellow rubber duckie ..

Alright ...i admitted that i fancy this yellow duckie for a long time ,
i even want the duck more than you sometime ....lol
when i saw this " BIG " duckie standing in front of a shop in the shopping
mall ... i think there're 2 seconds in my mind thinking how can i take
it home without drawing others attention ...
Look at its mouth ... i even placed my hand inside it and imagining
it bites me ( i know i am crazy ) ...


this rubber ducky became popularized beacuse of a popular muppet
" Ernie " in " Sesame Street " , Ernie frequently spoke to his duck and
carried it with him in other segments of the show .
He even have a song "Do de Rubber Duck" .....



What's more is that even Queen Elizabeth II has a rubber duck in
her bathroom that wears an inflatable crown .


There's a rubber duck race in Hong Kong , ( at the Gold Coast ) by
Sino Group in 2004 for charity . Nearly forty thousand rubber ducks
swam to raise funds for Po Leung Kuk’s children welfare services.
Of course you have to donate so to join this " race " ...lol...if your duckie
win the race , you can also win a luxuary apartment donated by Sino Group
worth over $2 millions ...haha ..what a nice prize .

The tallest Christmas tree and its surroundings

Honeyzita, here are some pictures of the area surrounding the Edward VII park, where is the Christmas tree located...It has a small park with some figures made out of bushes, and has also a lake with ducks, roosters, a park for children to play and also a very big botanical garden with trees and exotic plants from all over the world. We can go there too...it's not expensive to visit and we can take cool pictures there. We can save an entire day for this area... LOVE YOU!!!!

A big news in Hong Kong lately about a couple ( Vivian & Joe , both are actor )
with a more than 20 years relationship broke up because of a 22 years old gal ( Miffy ) .
They both published an announcement on newspapers about their relationship
have come to and end , which mean from couple into very close friend .
When everyone are gossiping on how Joe betrayed his 20 years partner Vivian
because of Miffy , and how Miffy won in this “ war “ ….. Joe & Vivian have an announcement again right after 7 days of their broken up , saying that they will get marry on 5 Jan ,
and please all those paparazzo to send them endless blessing .

I don’t know very details of the story , I only know Joe been taken lots of
photos by paparazzo on French kissing Miffy in a pub and those erotic SMS
showing that they knew each others for a long time …… that leads to ending
the 20 years relationship … whatsoever on the details of the story or what road
and solution the couple gunna take , that’s totally their own business ,
( I also think that the young Mifffy is really attractive and gorgeous ) … I am not
asking we should focus on such girly gossip topic ,

Sure that this news reminded me to cherish / trust / respect what I have and
the one I love ….. and shouldn't take everything for granted !
BUT the most important message from the news is " forgiveness is also
important in a relationship " . Vivian said in her announcement that :
....... one can judge if he's right or wrong except me . i've be with him for
more than 20 years and i can say he can bear this fault ... "

well.... I am not a generous person to be honest ,
needless to imagine “ what if I am Vivian “ because I am not , but I am sure
every time the break up left you a wound in heartstrings …Some “ experts “ said
that no matter how well you managed the “ wound “ , and how well you told the
others “ I am fine , I am still alive “ ….you still want to avoid touching it and people
mentioned it again because you haven’t let go …. And haven’t forgive the one who
hurt you ….

SO does that means..... keeping those feelings of hurt inside your mind represent you’re a
mean person and not generous enough ?????

I just don’t know and started to think that “ LVOE “ is something very hard to learn .

Hard to imagine this is the room ( partly ) of 2 ladies ....
i can only said " what a mess " in my mind ,
Trying my best to tidy up this "dangerous situation" ,
however seems it is another " mission impossible " . but
compared to baking / cooking , it is relatively a smaller one ....
beacuse whenever i've make the table and shelf tidy and clean ,
my sister will ruin everything after she finish her homework / project ....
what can i do ?? i can't balme her since she's the owner tooo ...
50% of the cost on buying this table and bunk bed was paid by her ....

so ....what i can do is place my notebook on the small pull-out panel and sit
on my bed while i am chatting with you ... ( what a pity , the desk is in front of me!! )
always joking with my sister that " i looks like living in a slum " , since my room
is not big , i think not more than 8ft x 9ft ...you can imagine how small it is
also showed that the living environment in Hong Kong is too crowd .... lol
Think i should stop my " complaining " ..... a small room just about right for me
.... a small gal ....

i saw this man on a hustle bustle street in Mongkok ,
he's holding a board on his hand and on this board
it wrote : ( in both Chinese + English )
1.) Believe Jesus 2.) Repent 3.) return to the child

People may think that he's mentally ill or some kinda
beggar , but i think what he did showed what he want ,
all the messages he want to let people know is on the board .
Clear and easy to understand .
i once saw this man in Kwun Tong as well ... some of my friends
even said that he always there in Central near the shopping
mall " ifc " . Do as what he do in usuall .. holding the board and
standing silently .

i am not that brave to ask him why you holding this board ,
what's the purposes on doing this . BUT i am sure he'd draw
many people's attention .... and the message he want to tell
been secertly sent all around the city ..............

Fresh asian noodle salad

A recipe i found in the web-site of " Jamie Oliver " , and tried to make
it this afternoon as my lunch since it is easy and i am again " alone "
this Sunday ... considering my BOSS always worried about my diet ,
i am sure after this post i can comforted my dear a bit , and let YOU know
that i will eat ....lol

1.) originally the recipe use minced beef but i replaced it with minced chicken
also some garlic , red chillies , gingers , onions for seasoning .



2.) some cellonphane noodles , chopped mints and coriander and shrimp .



3.) the mixture and the finishing dish :-)

Here's the methods and ingredients ( from the web-site ) :

• 300g/10½oz cellophane noodles
• 200g/7oz minced chicken breast
• 2 teaspoons five-spice
• 5 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and grated
• 2 heaped teaspoons of grated fresh ginger
• 100g/5½oz cooked peeled prawns
• 3 teaspoons sugar
• 1 bunch of spring onions, finely sliced
• 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 1 tablespoon fish sauce
• 2 fresh red chillies, deseeded and finely sliced
• 1 handful of fresh coriander, chopped
• 1 handful of fresh mint, chopped
• 2 handfuls of roasted peanuts
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Soak the noodles in a bowl of warm water until soft, then drain and put back in the bowl. In a hot wok fry the beef and five-spice in the olive oil until brown and crisp, then add the garlic, ginger, prawns and sugar and stir-fry for another 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir the wok mixture into the noodles. Add the spring onions, lime juice, fish sauce, chillies, coriander, mint and peanuts to the bowl. Toss well and correct the seasoning — it wants to be quite zingy with the lime juice. Sprinkle with some extra herb leaves if you like and serve cold.

Baking Class -- Chocolate Forest

Yesterday i've been to the baking class in Lai Chi Kok
with my colleagues ,7 of us ( all gals , one of the gal is my friend ) ,
Lai Chi Kok is near Mongkok , but unlike MK , is the industrial area ,
lots of baking workshops opened in those factories beacuse of the
rent are relatively cheaper .

the baking class yesterday started at 4PM , total 2 hours . Teacher
worked in hotel before ( a chef ) , his workshop also have other classes
about baking bread / coookies / western / asian cuisine etc ..
The class is a bit challenging to me beacuse all the others ( inculding my friend )
have baking experiences before coming to the class , some of them can be
the baking " expert " since they will sometime make some cakes / desserts
back to the office and share with us .... so to me this time my very first time

try to bake a cake totally by myself .

Firstly , the teacher gave us a note with all the ingredients we need for the cake ,
he go through the points first since the note also covered the steps . Than we've
been distribute all the ingredients / tools we needed and than teacher started
to teach and make the cake us step by step .

Over all the class is super fun and interesting , lots of laugh and joke in between
and time passed very fast , you won't notice that it took 2 hours for a cake .....

i am not that fancy for cake with lots of cream on top , actually i am not that
into dessert , the cake looks good outside beacuse there's a lot of chocolate on top
and you can also notice there's mango / cherry paste as fillings ...

i back home at around 7:30PM ....my family just finished the dinner and per
them , they're " expecting " my cake as a dessert ...lol ... both my mum and little
sisier like the cake so much especially my little sister , she like to eat those cream
on the cake so much .... my elder sister said the favour of chocolates are rich but
not enough sweety .... i only tried a very small slice of the cake , i think the cherry
paste is not that tasty , next time if i make this cake again i will replace it with chocolate
maybe ..

i thought this cake will be stored in the fridge for a week and finally go to the garbage
can , but luckly i found the empty cake box in the can with some forks and dishes in
the sink when i woke up this morning ... i think they " kill " the cake as breakfast ..lol

Since the yoga centre i usually go to located in Quarry Bay
one of the building in Taikoo Place , those area are a newly
restructuring district by " Swire Island East " ,
They always have art functions / exhibition there and
This time i've been to " Vivienne Westwood A Life in Fashion Exhibition "
NOT a big fans of this designer , but I appreciate her on some of her designs
as well as some philosophies behind those creations .
People may think that she's weird because most of the clothes
she made were not very " normal " , needless to say those corset for MALE ,
but just take a look at those 4 inches high-heel are enough to scared you away ...

Let me show you what means " weird " now ...lol

M&M's collection

i am not a big fans of " M&M's " , because I don't like chocolate
with candy coated / nuts inside ,
not saying that i totally hate their brand / chocolate , i mean if i have
a choice i rather eat those chocolate bars beacuse most of them are pure
chocolate with nothing inside ... hehe ... sounds a bit picky
BUT i specially love their " M&M's crispy candies " and it is a good snack for time-out ,
If you check out their web-site you can find that besides chocolate , they
also have some special productes occasionally eg : t-shirt / telephone / cushion etc .

Last week when i am on my way back home , i saw this exhibition in the
shoppingmall near where i lived . displaying all the special souvenirs by M&M's
i guess it is kinda advertising for the product since X'mas is near .

Honey when i saw this penny bank i am thinking will i have that
ugly face / reaction like the yellow one on right when we watch movie ???!!!

i like hugging cushion when sleeping ,
that one color in orange is really shape , how about you honey ??!!

Checking the web-site , i found that they have a service called " Personalized your candies "
in which you can create your own " M&Ms " ... from picking color to the words
on top as well as the packing / wrapping . Honeyzito , you may receive something
similar in Valentine's Day ... lol ...Who knows :-D
