weaing formal suit but flip-flop / sandals on their feet while
they're on-air reporting news ..haha

With all these fallen leafs on the ground and covered all the
way on the path to bus stop ( well.... almost 10 minutes by walk . )
Spring is no doubt coming silently and i can " feel " the sticky air already .
Spinning in my mind an idea to have a hikking within this month before
April . Such good weather with little chilly air in the morning but sunshine
and breeze at noon ... i should do some " taichi " like the woman in the
corner of the picture or hikking or yoga .... whatever ... just keep kicking .

Time passed very fast and now i have to say " tchau " to my favorites season winter !

Nothing is better than garthering with friends and have a happy
time together, Especially on a happy Friday night .
Here i am again in Mongkok ... the always hustle and bustle ,
crowd area in Hong Kong ... talking and gossiping all night ...
Too much eating and laughing made me a bit sore throat and
stomachache this morning ... i decided to skip my breakfast
and lunch , sure this will make me feel better than taking pills .
Nice to see my previous co-worker again , who's now having
a more happy life compared to year before ... from a always
depressed gal into now a more confidence gal . Also gald to hear
that she's planning her wedding next year in season Spring ....
method of her wedding would be in Church for a ceremony and
than a simple cocktail party only invited family and very close
friends of the couple .
Dunno if this year a good year for wedding or not , i've heard more
or less 5 people i know who's planning / getting marry ( or engage ) .

Anyway ... i had a nice pumpkin soup last night and blessing to my
co-worker ... lasting a relationship for almost 6 years and now decided
to start a new journey in her life .

Chupa-Chupa, Pirulito, Lollipop, Pop, Lolli, Sucker, Sticky Pop, Piruleta, Chupeta, etc. , it doesn't matter the name we use for it. These candies are the face of everyone's child. I used to be addicted to it when i was at secondary school, while some would have a cigarette in their mouths, i'd have my strawberry and lemon lollipops. Is there anyone in this world who hasn't tried one yet???



I can't stop myself from laughing whenever i listen to this song, especially the lyrics content of it. Anyone with a brain will immediately notice that they aren't really singing to lollipops, hahaha... Anyway, the song has a catchy rhythm. They are a group of two Portuguese rappers who immigrated to France but always stayed true to their roots. That's why you see them singing in French and Portuguese and there is always a lusophone element blended into their songs. It's interesting and i definitely admire them for exposing Portugal to the Francophone culture. Their band name is " La Harissa " and they come from the region of Minho, northern Portugal.

i guess almost 90% gals will FORCE ( or want ) their partner to answer
" YOU are the most beautiful person i know " ...
OR...maybe almost 90% gals had asked this question to their partner
before ... ( have i ?! ... i don't think i have ....)
i know i am not gorgeous / or having a very out standing image , that's why
i never expected an anwser of my name when this question been asked .
What so funny is that my friend got a little argue with her bf when she asked
this question to her boy . and i never think that such a question can be a reason
to raise an argue ....and i am also thinking to myself : " you guys are crazy .. "
i mean everyone got their own preference , i will feel pleased if my boy tell me

jiao zi / wonton ...

This is more like a jiao zi in wonton shape , i guess my mum
created it herself , since jiao zi should be more oblate,
double-saucer like shape , thicker, chewier skin and flatter,
the edges sealed by pressing together or by crimping . Wrapping
made by dough .
WHILE " wonton " have thinner skin, are sphere-shaped,
and are usually served in broth.

Anyway ... here she made her own style " dumpling "
with mince pork , leeks chopped into small pieces ,
small dried prawns . Seasoning all ingredients together
with sugar / salt / corn starch / little bit soya sauce
/ pepper powder / sesame oil .



Tho it is jiao zi crossover wonton , the flavor is fantabulous .
Shall i give it a special name ????

i finally unsderstand ( realized ) why people
like baking / cooking that much and always
willing to share the happniess of cooking with the others ....

Some photos been found last week when tidying up
the room .... most of them records the childhood time of
me and my siblings ....
Specially like this one : vintage and unforgettable ,
the colorful fruits printing skirt was made by my mum ,
i think i am going to attend the " dancing performance "
at the graduation ceremony when this photo been took .
Ohh .... Years 1990 , 21 July ...haha ... it tells the age .... lol

illusion painting ...

A German street painter -- Edgar Muller created the below
three dimension paintings on the pavement , differnt angles
you look at the paintings gives you different illusion effect .
i remember this painter been reported by newspapers for
many times about his illusion paintings and i am glad i've got
a chance before to watch the whole procedure of making one
huge three dimension painting on the pavement by this master
of street painting back to year 2006 .

This is the art event in Taikoo place where i worked in 2006 .
Name of the festival is " The illusion art exhibition " ,
i got a great time attending this event on Sunday , watching
them to drawn an huge illusion picture only using pastels and
a brush to help ... it is amazing ~

my home . YES ... inside the shoping mall but not outside .
anyone can have a round if you purchase in the shopping mall
for $500 that day , you can have a pass for playing a round .....
Have you notice that every carousel only got one horse color

i think my love will feel this place so familar to him when he read this post ,
this is MongKok , the " tample street " . ( his kingfom as well ) .
i've been there to do some little shopping with my mum this afternoon .
The weather in Hong Kong this whole week was always with gray sky and
chilly air , sometime with sprinkle rain at the morning and evening .
NO denied that Mongkok is a place best for shopping , however i still
can't stand for the too crowd .....

Of course !! Both films are by the same director David Fincher .
Even some quotes in the movie are similar ,
For example the mama " Queenie " in " Benjamin Button "
always said " you never know what's comming for you . "
Similar meanings to the mama in " Forrest Gump " who always
said " Life is like a box of chocolate you never know what you gunna get ".

i like both stories , not only the gorgeous Cate Blancatte , and the
talent Tom Hanks but thats something sparkled my mind after the movies ....

" Accidentally " i found a bag of cigarette in my sister's room ...
i was wondering " when my sister became a smoker " , and feels
like i've found a big secret of my sister ...



hahaha ... no more joking ! In fact this is a packet of chocolate
named " Chocolate cigraette " , a snack we used to eat when we're
in pals age ... is just chocolate sticks with a wrapping like cigraettes ,
you rip off the wrapping when eating . i guess the idea of this snack
is to experience how to hold a crigraette ( ?! ) or to pretended you
are a smoker ( ?! ) or maybe just for fun ... who knows ?!
My sister bought it because she's doing a theise for her final year in
photography certificate .
i won't dare to try these chocolate sticks again , i know the taste is .. :-S ( awful )

OK ~ i apologize on haven't send / make you any chocolate
on 14 Feb , maybe take a look at the pictures will reduce your
angry to me ... lol ...
These are " Dark Chocolate with orange jam filling " by my co-worker .
i ate a lot and i am sure this " V-day " is a day for gaining weight ... lol
My co-worker is an expert on bakery of course she said it is easy to make ,
i wonder if i can make half piece by myself successfully ...haha..

Both flower bouquets are not mine , the one i am holding are
from an admirer of my co-worker , she don't want to take it
back home so she left it in the office . The one on left was from
the husband of my supervisor . Per her , this bouque cost $6,500
on that day ... with this price i can go to Japan for a 5 days trip ...lol

I am not saying that i want chocolate / flowers on V-days ,
or using this post to imply something , i just want to show you
what happened on that day in the office and how my co-workers
celebrated this day with their beloved ...
